Scope and safety

> This material describes a traditional astrological indication. It is not medical, financial, legal, safety, or other professional advice.

In this tradition of Jyotish, the Kal Purush is treated as a symbolic human form through which the twelve zodiac signs may be connected with twelve regions of the body. These correspondences can provide an organizing framework for astrological interpretation, but they should not be used to diagnose symptoms or replace qualified healthcare.

The correspondence principle

Each sign is traditionally associated with a particular body region. When a chart factor occupies or influences a sign, that sign's corresponding region may receive additional attention in a health-oriented reading.

The supplied framework gives several explicit examples:

  • Cancer is traditionally associated with the chest and lungs.
  • Leo is traditionally associated with the stomach and abdominal region.
  • Pisces is traditionally associated with the feet.

These associations are symbolic indications rather than statements about a person's physical condition.

Use with planetary factors

A planet functioning as a badhak or marak and occupying a particular sign may traditionally suggest sensitivity or obstruction connected with that sign's body region. Its dasha may be read as a period in which the correspondence becomes more relevant, although this does not establish that an illness is present.

For example, Rahu in Leo may be interpreted as suggesting disturbance around the stomach or abdomen, sometimes framed through vata or vayu. Venus acting as a badhak in Cancer may be associated with possible chest, lung, cold, allergy, or kapha themes. Such readings remain astrological indications and require no medical conclusion.

Wider interpretive context

Sign mapping may be considered alongside houses, planets, dashas, and constitutional ideas such as prakriti and dosha. The sixth house may be read in relation to pathways through which illness becomes manifest, while the seventh house may be associated with digestive and urinary systems in this framework. These factors tend to be interpreted together rather than as isolated proof of a condition.

Traditionally, pitta may be connected with sensitivity involving the hair, eyes, skin, stomach, or urinary system, while Rahu may add a vata or vayu theme to the region represented by its sign. These correspondences should be treated as symbolic context only.

Responsible interpretation

Body mapping can suggest which symbolic region deserves closer interpretive attention, but it cannot determine a diagnosis, cause, severity, or outcome. Physical symptoms, changes in body temperature, breathing concerns, digestive discomfort, urinary problems, or other health issues should be assessed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
