त्र्यम्बकं सदाशिवं शान्तं शशाङ्कमुकुटान्वितम् ।
ब्रह्मविष्ण्विन्द्रसेव्यं च महामृत्युञ्जयं भजे ॥
ब्रह्मविष्ण्विन्द्रसेव्यं च महामृत्युञ्जयं भजे ॥
I worship three-eyed Sadāśiva — serene, adorned with the crescent moon upon his crown — the great Mṛtyuñjaya who is served by Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Indra.

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् ।
उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माऽमृतात् ॥
उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माऽमृतात् ॥
We worship the three-eyed Śiva who pervades all existence and nourishes all beings. As a ripe cucumber frees itself from the vine, may he release us from the grip of death — yet not from immortality.

नमः शम्भवाय च मयोभवाय च नमः शङ्कराय च मयस्कराय च ।
नमः शिवाय च शिवतराय च ॥
नमः शिवाय च शिवतराय च ॥
Salutation to Śambhu the bestower of well-being, and to Mayobhava the source of bliss; salutation to Śaṅkara the auspicious and Mayaskara the giver of joy; salutation to Śiva and to the supremely auspicious.

महादेवाय विद्महे मृत्युञ्जयाय धीमहि ।
तन्नो रुद्रः प्रचोदयात् ॥
तन्नो रुद्रः प्रचोदयात् ॥
May we come to know the great god Mahādeva; may we meditate on Mṛtyuñjaya the conqueror of death. May that Rudra illuminate and guide our intellect.

मृत्युञ्जयाय रुद्राय नीलकण्ठाय शम्भवे ।
अमृतेशाय शर्वाय महादेवाय ते नमः ॥
अमृतेशाय शर्वाय महादेवाय ते नमः ॥
Salutations to Mṛtyuñjaya, to Rudra, to the blue-throated Nīlakaṇṭha, to Śambhu, to Amṛteśa the lord of immortality, to Śarva, and to the great god Mahādeva.

मृत्युञ्जयाख्यं स्तवनं यः करोति प्रयत्नतः ।
स विजेत्य महामृत्युं लभते परमां गतिम् ॥
स विजेत्य महामृत्युं लभते परमां गतिम् ॥
Whoever recites this praise of Mṛtyuñjaya with sincere and diligent effort shall conquer the great death and attain the highest state of liberation.

आयुरारोग्यमैश्वर्यं शत्रुनाशो यशस्करम् ।
त्र्यम्बकस्य प्रसादेन सर्वसिद्धिः प्रजायते ॥
त्र्यम्बकस्य प्रसादेन सर्वसिद्धिः प्रजायते ॥
Long life, good health, prosperity, the destruction of enemies, and renown — by the grace of the three-eyed Lord Tryambaka, all perfections are attained.
